My Favorite Place in Lembang Park and Zoo

 

Lembang Park and Zoo is one of the zoos located in Bandung, precisely on Jl. Colonel Masturi No.171, Sukajaya, Lembang, West Bandung Regency, West Java 40391. Lembang Park and Zoo is a modern zoo. The concept of this zoo is unique, it’s called the Bavarian concept.

Last month, when Bandung had implemented the AKB or the adaptation of new habits to the New-normal era, my family and I visited Lembang Park and Zoo. The implementation of health protocols was very good, starting from entering the disinfectant booth, checking body temperature, washing hands, and providing hand sanitizer and masks. The price of admission to Lembang Park and Zoo is 50k per person.

When we enter the place, we have to walk quite a long distance to be able to see the animals, but we can rent an e-scooter (it’s a bit pricey, it's better to walk while enjoying the scenery and exercising). There are several places that we can go through to see the animals. If we want to see tigers and lions (while eating maybe?) Then, we can visit a restaurant "Mie Bakso Si Loreng", where visitors can experience eating while looking at bengal tigers and lions.

There are lots of interesting animal areas to visit there, but I have some favorite spots that amaze me. My favorite place is the Big aviary area, there is a wide variety of very attractive and beautiful colored birds, such as Macaws (yes! we call it Faber Castell bird LOL), parrots, and many more. There we can feed the birds by paying a feed fee of 10k. Yes, with only 10k, we can look at beautiful and tamed birds! We can take pictures together; and, the big aviary is very Instagrammable. So, when we take pictures with the birds, the background view will make a good post for your Instagram feeds. 

 

Besides the big aviary, the second place I like the most is Néko cat café. At this café, we can meet cute cats of various types. If you want to visit this café, you have to spend around 30k for an hour. This café is an interesting place to take pictures or selfies with the cats, so it’s not less instagrammable than the big aviary.

   

Lembang Park and Zoo is a place that I highly recommend for those of you who want to fill the weekend by seeing various kinds of animals and taking pictures at some unique spots to enhance your Instagram feeds. Don't forget to pay attention to health protocols by wearing a mask, washing your hands, and keeping your distance.
